Computer Aided Design Environment for Composites (CADEC)
CADEC is an online application that performs composite materials analysis as described in the textbook
Introduction to Composite Materials Design--Second Edition,
CADEC allows the user to calculate a wide variety of properties.

CADEC can compute the Stiffness, Compliance, Strain and Stress transformation.
All the calculations can be exported to Microsoft® Excel 2010.
CADEC can compute the ABD and H matrices, the hygroscopic loads, strains and stresses.

Failure criteria implemented in CADEC
CADEC predicts initiation and evolution of intralaminar damage, as well as consequent stiffness degradation and eventual laminate failure.
Crack density in one lamina vs. applied laminate strain. All laminas may crack and all are evaluated and calculated.
CADEC predicts alll the properties, including stiffness and strength, of laminas reinforced with textile fabrics.
