CADEC--Random Reinforced Lamina--Density
The density of a random-reinforced lamina is computed using the same formula used for the unidirectional lamina, i.e., rule of mixtures, which uses the density of fiber and matrix, and the fiber volume fraction. The formula is very accurate. Values of fiber and matrix density can be found easily in the literature, or listed in the tables in Chapter 2: "Materials", of the textbook.
