CADEC--Degraded Material in Macromechanics

CADEC uses a degraded material to calculate the laminate last ply failure (LPF). The user specifies the damage factor df in a range from 0 to 1, where 0 means no degradation at all (see intact), and 1 means totally degraded. Degradation is implemented as a loss of stiffness. Except the longitudinal modulus, all other moduli are degraded in the same way by multiplying the intact (original, virgin) modulus by (1-df). In other words, moduli of the lamina are reduced by (1-df), for df=0 the material is intact (virgin); and for df=1 the material is totally damaged.
