CADEC--Degraded Material--Laminate Density

The density of the laminate is computed as the thickness-weighted average of the density of all the laminas in the laminate. Each lamina has its own density, which is either calculated by micromechanics in terms of the density of fiber, matrix, and fiber volume fraction; or it is retrieved from the database for experimental laminas. The calculation of lamina and laminate densities are the same regardless of whether the laminate is intact) or degraded.
